Creating The Right Environment For Drying
When you have a large water loss like the facility pictured here, it is critical to make sure that the moisture is removed as quickly as possible in order to prevent secondary damage such as mold growth.
One way we do this is to you special drying equipment to speed up the process. We will often use air movers to create airflow that helps with the evaporation of the moisture. However, the humidity will begin to rise. In order to handle the rise in humidity, we will use dehumidifiers to remove the moisture from the air. This creates a balance between evaporation and dehumidification that helps to remove moisture quickly.
