Leaky HVAC system causes ceiling damage

The HVAC system in the attic space of this Sierra Estate home caused damage in the ceiling and along the walls of the bathroom it was positioned above. SERVPRO of Mesa East arrived to begin water mitigation. The homeowner did get the HVAC system checked and repaired prior to our arrival. We worked quickly to remove the water damaged sheetrock as it was extremely damaged and needed to be replaced. We placed our industrial drying fans and a dehumidifier to remove the humidity and aid in the drying process. Our equipment speeds up the evaporation process which also helps prevent secondary damage like mold.
